Pick of the year 2018

In 2017 a badly twisted ankle called a halt to my photography for much of the year but 2018 saw me fully recovered and pursuing my photography with renewed enthusiasm. Consequently, the 'Pick of the Year' is back and now has my favourite images of 2018.

Much of my photographic time last year was spent in a small wood in western Switzerland so I make no apologies for the number of images from there that made the cut. Trips to Slovenia and England's Lake District also provided noteworthy images.

Additionally, I have been making some minor changes to the site internals in order to support galleries within galleries. I needed to do this because I am increasingly working on location-dependent projects and wanted to showcase these separately.
