Generally, slot canyons (narrow, straight-sided clefts in rocky outcrops) are associated with the desert southwest region of the USA so it was quite surprising to find a particularly impressive example in Europe (although limestone isn't quite as instantly attractive as the multi-hued sandstone of Arizona and Utah's 'red-rock country').
