Nestling in a crevice
I enjoy karstic landscapes largely because the forms taken by the water-eroded limestone make them a photographer's dream. The Col du Sanetsch boasts an extensive area of limestone pavement, full of eroded fissures like this. The plucky little plant which appears to be thriving in the shelter of one such crevice drew me to this scene.
